"Last couple of months ago it was the first time I ever slept on linen sheets. since then I bought my fourth set of linen sheets. never going back to cotton. i bought a new bed a few months ago Saatva classic 14. 5 inch high mattress. the linen sheets fit the mattress just fine. love the weight of the sheets and how they drape on the bed and how they feel next to my skin. all these years I now realize what I have been missing. those days are over. thank you Modern Dane for such a quality product and your customer service is awesome."

Sadly the color was not as expected

"Okay so the linen quality is great. Highly recommend it on that front. Unfortunately, the black is very blue. Even my husband, who is generally not great at distinguishing colors, walked in and commented "Oh! We got a blue duvet cover! I thought we were getting black?" If that's what you're going for, this is the duvet for you. If you want black though, I do not think this will work. We tried it in multiple rooms with various different paints on the walls and lighting situations, and it just always looks blue!"

Love it!

"This is my first fitted sheet from The Modern Dane and I'm loving it! I ordered the green (grøn) and was a little hesitant thinking it would be a bit more chartreuse than I'd like, but it's a beautiful green! I loved it the minute I opened the box. I ordered the twin sheet and although I have a shallower mattress at 6" tall, it still fits! Definitely recommend :)"

Very deep pockets

"The fitted sheet was comfortable right out of the box. The pockets are super deep, so it will easily fit most mattresses. My only concern is that the fabric is pretty sheer. I expected more heft to it similar to the linen duvet cover I have from the Modern Dane . I spilled just a very little of something on the linen sheet and it leaked right through to the mattress protector. So instead of having to wash my mattress protector in the future should it happen again, I have now placed a flannel fitted sheet on my bed first. I then add the linen fitted sheet on top of it because I do want to be enveloped in linen. Given the extra steps, I need to go through to make my bed, I’m not sure if I would do the linen fitted sheet again. I do intend to keep it. I do love that the sheet is soft and organic and I think the company is fabulous. Plus I live in the Seattle area and I want to support a local business."

"This fitted sheet is not as fitted as I would like. I ordered the correct size King Size bed but seems a little oversized. I love the feel of it though. Quality is amazing."

Fitted Linen Sheet (queen)

"Hello, I ordered a queen size linen sheet with pillow cases. I'm happy with the fabric and I'm curious to see how they hold up. They are textured but very soft. I notice a difference with sleeping cooler. It seems this brand goes the extra step of trying to guarantee the providence of their linen which is important to me. They're also reasonably priced when compared to other brands that go to similar effort. There are cheaper options out there but you'll notice they don't list the fabric weight nor have the same providence guarantees. I'm trying several other brands too to compare but so far I'm very happy with Modern Dane and would order again based on the quality I see."

"I started with just a top sheet that I wrapped around me like a burrito as my husband said he didn't want linen sheets. He grew up in Italy and and experienced stiff, rough linen as a child and wanted nothing to do with it! However, after seeing how soft and comfortable THIS linen is, we purchased the fitted sheet as well and now we both enjoy the luxury of The Modern Dane sheets."

how deep are the fitted king si?e sheets. Mattresses come in several depths these days and I want to make sure these are deep enough that they will not slip off the corners of the mattress all the time.: Hi Brenda, Thank you for your question! Our fitted sheets have 16-inch deep pockets, which fit most mattresses up to about 16 inches deep. The elastic runs all the way around the sheet to help keep it securely in place. If your mattress is especially thick or you use a very deep mattress topper, just let us know the total height of your mattress and we'd be happy to let you know whether we think it will be a good fit. The flax itself is grown in Belgium and France, and the fabric is then woven, dyed, and sewn in Portugal by long-established textile partners who specialize in premium linen bedding.
